Innovative Patented Ultraviolet UV Technology
SnowPure provides a unique, patented ultraviolet water treatment technology. This patented technology utilizes a highly-reflective UV treatment chamber that maximizes the use of the ultraviolet light emitted, saves 80-90% of the power required, and provides a much more uniform UV photon exposure. This is the new standard for microbial disinfection and TOC reduction (Total Organic Carbon).
Three key advantages:
- Uniform dosage: no photon gradient throughout the reactor, giving dosage assurance and improved bacteria kill
- Compact: a 4 inch reactor can treat over 100 m3/h (over 500 gpm)
- Energy/Bulbs: a 100 m3/h (5oo gpm) reactor uses only 2 bulbs and 200 watts
Industry Applications
UV technology is a superior chemical-free disinfection process, but traditional UV uses a lot of electricity, and the cost of annual bulb replacement is high. Beverage, pharmaceutical, and semiconductor plants all benefit from our ultraviolet technology energy-saving innovation and enhanced performance capabilities. The UV products we offer can save customers thousands of dollars by reducing capital, operating and replacement costs.
Key benefits to SnowPure UV products
The benefits to our UV products’ unique compact design and greatly improved efficiency include:
- Reduced total cost of operation
- 80% less power consumption
- Easier handling, installation and maintenance
- 3x to 7x increase in efficiency
- Fewer bulbs to replace
- Lower initial capital cost
The savings customers realize after one year may even pay for the unit!
Products can be configured with:
- 254 nm, for disinfection, and/or
- 185 nm, for TOC reduction
